Cogswell BombÉ Chest

This exact copy of John Cogswell’s Boston bombé low chest from 1780-1795 is an outstanding example of this shop’s work. With shaped sides and a shaped serpentine front, it is one of the best proportioned pieces to come from this flourishing shop. The cast pagoda brasses are fire gilded.
