Symonds Chest

Made primarily of quarter sawn oak, this imposing 17th century design chest was originally made in the Symonds family shop of Salem, Massachusetts. The chest, with joined construction and side-mounted drawer supports has applied moldings and split turnings made of mahogany, walnut, maple, red cedar and cedrela.
