Newport Carved Desk
and Bookcase
This Rhode Island block front desk and bookcase has six carved shells on its exterior and three additional shells on its interior. Made of mahogany, it is one of the best proportioned secretaries out of the Goddard-Townsend School. Like the original, which was made 1760-1775, ours is handmade to exacting dimensions and details.
